Part Name: $100m\Omega$ $\pm 1\%$ $5W$ Through-Hole Resistor

Part Description: This resistor will be used primarily as a mechanism to sense current in your circuits by measuring the voltage drop across the resistor (and then calculating current through Ohm’s Law). A current-sensing resistor is specifically chosen to be of low resistance and high precision. The reason for having low resistance is to avoid influencing the impedance of the circuit. High precision resistance gives us more precision in the calculation of current from the associated voltage drop across the resistor.
